home > What's ESD?
| About ESD ESD includes learning and/or activities that aim to relate both social issues and our lives, and to facilitate the new values and behaviour in us for achieving a sustainable world. Through knowing unsustainable social issues, facing them, seeking the solutions and taking action – this series of learning experiences raise the awareness and leads an action in a citizen. The connectedness of nature and life, the coexistence of human-nature, and the cultural diversity are also often emphasized in the learning and activities of ESD. |
